About Us
Our History
B & H Carpet has been family owned and operated since 1968. Started by Claude Hilwerda & Tom Bird. The business was operated at Claude’s home. Tom eventually went on to open another business. In 1995, It became clear that they should have a store, as Claude’s sons David and Kevin would be working for him.
The store grew quickly which led them to the location that we own and operate out of. Since the passing of Claude, David & Kevin took ownership. We have our own installers that have been trained by David & Kevin, some of them family. Dave’s wife, Kelleen manages the store, along with 2 employees.
